Minesite Safety Gates
Mine-site safety gates on trucks and trailers are now required on most mine sites if you do not have any gates fitted.The reason for the mine-site safety gates are that they are much lighter and easy to handle, are painted yellow (required by most mine sites) and are only waist high, making it easy to load or unload over the top of the gate yet any person standing on the truck or trailer has something to stop them from stepping over the edge.
There are no standards regarding these gates or how they should be fitted, but some mine sites have their own standards so you would need to check with the mine site that you are transporting to.

Access Ladders
Access ladders are a important addition to truck bodies when the truck is working on a mine site etc. They make it easy for personal to safely climb up onto the tray.The ladder folds down when needed then back up out of the way when not being used. You can have just a ladder with just the hand grab rails or also with a self closing gate.
We also have just a drop in self closing gate. These are ideal if you already have the steps in place. They all either just bolt in or drop in so are easy to fit.
We have three different style of access ladders/gate:
- Bolt on ladder that folds down.
- Bolt on ladder that folds down including self closing gate.
- Drop in access gate. No ladder.
All ladders are powder coated yellow and are Certified to Australian Standards.
The ladders just bolt onto the tray and the access gate drops into two holes in the tray.
